"Walking through Soho every day as I do, it does not take long to notice that Wayfarer's are as ubiquitous in this smooth, urban environment as Wellington boots are in the countryside. The difference is that Wayfarers are also unquestionably gorgeous.
I knew I had to have a pair balanced on my increasingly image-conscious schnoz, and these 2012 limited editions are bang up to date without the gaudy colours and externals designs that shout "Shoreditch" from fifty paces.
A quick search found a pair offered for sale at "The Internet Opticians" at a very competitive price, cheaper than any to be found on ebay, which a dangerous place to buy from anyway with such a high saturation of convincing fakes around, and with the peace of mind of a real land-line telephone number.
My order was placed over the weekend and so was obviously not processed until Monday morning but I was shocked to find them delivered by Tuesday. Next day delivery is a luxury most online shops charge through the nose for, not so here.
Sadly my five star review must be doctored to four as the price for this particular pair has dropped five pounds in the intervening week. I wouldn't mind but for the fact the email asking me to leave this review directed me to revisit this page and find out that I've lost out on 500 penny chews.
Still, the upside for anyone else is that these particularly sexy specs are now even better value. Just right for floating up and down Shaftesbury Avenue..."
