Absolute perfection

"These goggles offer everything you can demand for slope: killer outlook, premium optics, shelter and cover from sunlight and hits, aswell as practicality in every possible situation. It's just a click-woosh-click and you've changed yourself a lens from that nasty flat light to tanning sunburn."

Impressive Goggles

"Seriously impressive goggles. Quick change mechanism is a doddle. Remains to be seen whether this is practical on the slopes. This lens combo is the best all-rounder in my view. Fire Iridium for bright days and Persimmon for flat light. Would have preferred a different frame but the lenses are the most important bit. You get a very nice carry case and a microfibre carry case. The case has a pocket for the extra lens. Would have preferred it to be classic Oakley Grey rather than white though! The fit with my Giro helmet is perfect! I only have one gripe. I would want to take the spare lens out with me but I have no idea how to protect it. If I take a tumble I would be worried I'd break it."

Highly effective system

"My eyes are sensitive to light, so I have tried several interchangeable lens systems over the years. This is by far the easiest and most effective I have ever used. Open the catch, pop out the lens, insert the new lens and close the catch. Easy to do this on the slope. Oakley lenses are, of course, well known for their quality. The VR28 was excellent in strong sunlight and the Persimmon was at least as good as any lens I have ever used in flat light. One warning - the frame is quite large, fine for medium and large faces, but if you have a small or narrow face these may not be for you. The Internet Opticians delivery service was first rate. I ordered the goggles after close of business on Thursday 29 December, for standard delivery, and I received them before 10am on 31 December."
