"I have long admired the Oakley Jawbones, for their style and ease of lense change. Plus, as a racing cyclist, the pro-peleton were wearing them, which further increased their desireability among competetive cyclists. Unfortunately, for me, the jawbones were a little too big for my face and looked over-the-top, so weren't ideal. The Split Jackets are the perfect solution. They have the same great features as the Jawbone, but are a little smaller and have slightly less 'styling'. They are comfy, lightweight and, as ever with Oakley, have top-quality optics. The Unobtainium nose pads are nice and sticky, too, so they don't slide down your nose when you're sweating and riding hard. Some racing cyclists might prefer the Jawbones to the Split Jackets because the bottom of the frame on the Jawbones is slightly lower and, therefore, further out of the field of vision and does not obstruct the near view, such as when you are following a wheel in a race. For me, this is not a problem with the Split Jacket but it might be an issue for some, so check this before you make your decision. Finally, superb service and price by the The Internet Opticians.
